Beth Gifford, (CPT), (MBS), Exercise Physiologist
Philosophy
I have worked in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years. I love sharing my passion for health, wellness and exercise with others. My goal is to help each individual reach their optimal level of health and wellness through exercise and good nutrition. I hope to instill or reinforce a love of exercise and an appreciation for how amazing it can make you feel.
When you achieve balance, strength, flexibility, a strong core and great posture your body is so capable and you just feel well. Whether your goal is health or you want to train for an event, exercise is empowering.
Recently, I have spent a good deal of time working with clients who have been discharged from Physical Therapy for a variety of conditions to continue their journey toward achieving their optimal health and their highest level of pain-free function. I have also used exercise to help individuals prepare for surgery, so that their recovery would be quicker and easier.
I also love helping our youth achieve greater fitness and enjoy working with young athletes to prevent injuries through strength, body mechanics and flexibility training.
I have Completed 2 Marathons.

Philosophy
From the time I could stand my mother, my grandmother and my ballet teachers made sure there was not a phone book that wouldn’t stay on my head! Over
forty years later and after eighteen years of being “the teacher” execution, form and posture are still the foundation of my fitness philosophy.
Over time I see all my students and clients stand taller and move with a greater sense of confidence and grace. I believe that to change your body you need to lift weights and you need to fail! My passion is seeing women change in front of my eyes. I see strength and confidence where there was none before. This is my passion and my proof that that I am doing what I was born to do.

Philosophy
I always knew that helping people was the reason why I woke up in the morning. I began my education in the sciences at the molecular level but soon realized through my own satisfactions with fitness something amazing. That fitness is all encapsulated through its medicinal ability to treat both the body and mind. This passion has motivated me to begin sharing my knowledge with others. I left the bio-tech field behind and began my education as a nationally certified trainer through the very accredited AFFA. The satisfaction of helping my clients reach their goals is immediate, whereas in research it could take a life time to find a cure. I am where I belong.
I also work in administrative operations for TEN SPA as an intricate part of the team. I offer and enjoy both one on one training and group personal training. From walking and running clinics, boot camp, boxing, golf, skiing or any sports specific specialized program. If you want to shape up quick and have fun doing it, I can help.

Philosophy
There is nothing better than watching someone make the connection between the effort they put into their workouts and the subsequent results and taking advantage of the motivation that comes from that. I have learned through personal experience that our greatest strengths are often disguised as what we perceive as weakness. When you dig deeper and discover those hidden strengths, the possibilities in all aspects of your life are limitless. I enjoy pushing clients through functional circuit training where cardio endurance is achieved through resistance training of all muscle groups.
Everything that you do in the gym only enhances everything else in your life. That includes the friendships that you make there, and I love the lifelong friends that I have met through training.

Philosophy
I pride myself on being a great motivator. I like to watch people enjoy strength
training. I have had great success with motivating and coaching people in weight loss and overall health and wellness. I like training groups of 4-6 people because it allows them to motivate each other, become good friends and have fun. I find that people are more compliant with their workouts if they have something or someone fun to look forward to seeing. I also train one-on-one for those who like the individual attention. My main philosophy is work hard, but have fun doing it!
