Ten Spa - Class Descrptions

 

CARDIO CONDITIONING

IT’S ALL ABOUT THE HEART! THIS CLASS WILL INCREASE YOUR CARDIAC OUTPUT AND BURN CALORIES! EACH TEN SPA INSTRUCTOR WILL UTILIZE DIFFERENT EQUIPMENT AND BRING THEIR OWN STYLE AND PERSONALITY TO THE CLASS.

 

BODY SCULPT

INCREASING MUSCLE MASS IS ONE OF THE BEST WAYS TO CONTROL YOUR WEIGHT. THIS CLASS WILL HELP YOU BUILD MUSCLE, BURN FAT AND HELP TONE AND DEFINE YOUR BODY.

 

CARDIO CORE CONDITIONING

A VARIETY OF CARDIO TECHNIQUE IS COMBINED WITH A STRONG CORE FOCUS. SOME CLASSES WILL INCLUDE WEIGHT WORK.

 

MUSCLE INFERNO

NOTHING FANCY. OLD FASHIONED BODY BUILDING. HEAVY WEIGHTS, SUPERSETS, GIANT SETS, FAILURE, FATIGUE AND FOCUS! TECHINQUE AND POSTURE ARE THE CORNERSTONES OF THIS CLASS.

 

CARDIO INFERNO

HIGH INTENSITY CARDIO WORKOUT.

 

CARDIO STEP PARTY& HI/LO DANCE PARTY

IT’S A PARTY! HAVE FUN WHILE YOU MOVE AND GROOVE.

 

CIRCUIT TRAINING

MUSCULAR STRENGTH AND ENDURANCE WILL BE ENHANCED BY FOCUSING ON EACH COMPONENT IN TIMED INTERVALS. ALL THE TOYS COME OUT TO CHALLENGE YOUR BODY AND HELP YOU INCREASE YOUR FITNESS LEVEL.

 

20/20 CORE

THE CARDIO PORTION IS A COMBINATION OF STEP AND HI/LO. THE LAST 2O IS FOR ABDOMINAL AND CORE EXERCISES.

SAME AS ABOVE EXCEPT THE LAST 20 IS FOR TONING

 

20 / 20 / 20 TAEBO STEP

CLASSIC BOXING JABS AND KICKS COMBINED WITH THE STEP MAKES THIS A GREAT UPPER AND LOWER BODY CARDIO WORKOUT.

 

ZUMBA

LO IMPACT MAYBE BUT YOU MOVE WITH A LATIN PULSE. ALL THAT’S MISSING IS YOUR PARTY DRESS AND YOUR HEELS.

FOURTY-FIVE MINUTES OF CARDIO & WEIGHTS.

 

STEP PLUS

INSTRUCTORS WILL ADD CORE AND STRENGTH WORK TO YOUR STEP WORKOUT.

THIS IS A FULL BODY WORKOUT THAT UTILIZES CLASSIC BALLET DRILLS. NO FORMAL BALLET TRAINING NEEDED.

THIS IS A CARDIO WORKOUT FOR THOSE WHO LOVE TO DANCE

 


STABILITY BALL WORKOUT

THIS IS A BODY SCULPT CLASS THAT UTILIZES THE STABILITY BALL AS ONE OF THE MAJOR TOOLS.

FREE YOUR MIND AND THE REST WILL FOLLOW! NIA IS A COMBINATION OF MODERN, JAZZ AND BALLET. THERE ARE SIGNS OF TAI CHI, BELLY DANCING AND NATIVE AMERICAN MOVEMENT.IT IS A CAPTIVATING LO IMPACT CLASS THAT CAN’T BE MISSED.

 

X PILATES

JOSEPH PILATES, A FORMER DANCER, GYMNAST AND YOGA MASTER DEVELOPED PILATES TO REHABILITATE DANCERS. LEARN TO UTILIZE YOUR CORE FOR MORE PRODUCTIVE WORKOUTS

 

X FLEXYOGA

TEN SPA’S YOGA PROGRAM IS ABOUT ACHIEVING A HIGHER LEVEL OF FLEXIBILITY, STRENGTH, BALANCE, POSTURE AND CORE STABILITY. EACH TEACHER BRINGS THEIR UNIGUE STYLE AND EXPERIENCE.
